Elena Jane "Ellie" Goulding (born on 30 December 1986) is an English singer-songwriter and guitarist. She rose to fame after topping the BBC Sound of 2010 poll and winning the Critics Choice Award at the2010 BRIT Awards. After signing to Polydor Records in 2009, Goulding released her first extended play, An Introduction to Ellie Goulding, followed by her debut full-length studio album, Lights, in 2010.
When I was back in Hawkes Bay for a week holiday to see the family and friends, I was introduced to this song by mum and my youngest brother. We had picked Sam up from school, 17 yr old boy at high school who thinks everythings boring and "sucks" at school, mum puts this happy song by Ellie 'starry eyed' on once shes picked him up :) and shes right will put you in a great mood once you hear this song!
